On January 12, 2024, Mike Kenton suffered a severe spinal injury while on vacation outside of the country. After receiving poor emergency care, he was medevacked to a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has been placed in a brace to stabilize his C1 vertebrate as it is fractured in four places, and has already undergone surgery to fuse his C4 & C5 and C6 & C7. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, our hope is that Mike will soon be transported by air ambulance to Madonna in Lincoln. There he will continue his rehabilitation in hopes he will regain as much function as possible in his extremities. Mike has a long and difficult road to recovery (estimated two years), bringing not only medical, but also travel expenses for his wife, Connie, and children, Jaxson, Kaley, Dakota, and Parker, so they can visit him during this difficult time. Please consider providing support to Mike and Connie in their time of need and keep the whole Kenton family in your thoughts and prayers.
