Welcome to the Michigan Mock Trial!

Michigan Mock Trial, or MMT, is a group of 26 students, from all grades and areas of study, who come together to form one of the top mock trial teams in the country. Our team is incredibly proud to be completely student-run. Instead of using input from coaches, we rely on each other for feedback and support in crafting our legal arguments. Being student-run also means that every accomplishment we have is completely our own… which this year included 28 individual awards and a second-place win at nationals!

It takes around $35,000 a year to keep our team running. This money allows us to pay for travel, hotels, and food while we compete. This year there were major changes in university funding for clubs. That means we have to lean on our community to ensure our members can get to tournaments safely and comfortably. Any donation puts us one step closer to another nationals win.
