Michelle is currently in the midst of what she describes as the hardest thing she's ever been through (which, if you know her like I do, says a LOT). As a result of everything that's been going on Michelle has found herself in a pretty tough financial situation and could really use our help. No amount is too small and every cent will be received with an abundance of gratitude, humbleness and love ❤.
Here's a note from Michelle:
This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do for my health and well being.
In the course of the last two weeks many things have happened in my life, most importantly...a renewed hope for life.
I've learned that IT REALLY DOES take one person to change future generations.
I now know that through prayer, many loved ones, beautiful friends, and hard work on my part (and therapy), breaking generational curses can begin and end with with me (just like the song by Tasha Cobb says “Break Every Chain”). It took me 47 years to realize that all of the heart ache, emotional struggles, guilt, anger and buried shame (and projecting) has been so entrenched into the marrow of my life that I am basically starting over from ground zero. Pride plays a huge role in why it’s so hard for me to ask for financial help, but it’s also my truth.
I am a single mother. My daughter Keyanna is my greatest joy and the reason my heart beats every day, and this is something that my mother easily used to her advantage. I raised Keyanna with very little support from her father, put myself in debt to get through nursing school and maintain my household, all while dealing with the constant financial burden of my mother. Keyanna and I are seeking a new, independent beginning and I am asking for help so that we can begin our healing and develop a new outlook on our lives. I currently reside in Atlanta, and that is where Keyanna and I decided we will make our permanent home (against my mothers wishes, as she has been trying everything in her power to get us both back to Michigan).
Our current financial needs are for:
-Moving my daughters belongings out of storage and my daughter out of my mothers house in Michigan to Atlanta
- Finding and moving into a 2 bedroom apartment (Deposit +1st months rent)
- Moving my belonging out storage and into our apartment
I've also signed up with the NFCC (National Foundation for Credit Counseling) and DollarSprout (for additional income) in order to find my way to financial freedom. I will gladly give you the links to both websites so you can follow my progress and track the money that's going towards taking back my life and legacy.
I cannot thank the people who loves and supports me enough for their grace, patience, and abiding love with constant prayer. Of course anything you can give is more than enough.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand “ Isaiah 41:10
With more than love and humbleness,
Michelle
