Michael is an 18-year-old ice hockey goalie with a fierce determination to obtain his goals.

Although Michael started playing hockey later than his peers, he has more than made up for his late introduction into the world of hockey with his passion, hard work, and dedication to the sport. He has independently funded his goal to play since he purchased his first set of pads second-hand. His love for the sport was born with the introduction of the Vegas Golden Knights, and his passion for goaltending was cemented with his first block during an open stick and puck. He has poured every spare moment and dollar he has made into bettering himself as a goalkeeper since.

His drive to play has provided him with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play juniors hockey and represent Las Vegas as one of two American players invited to play on a Canadian team just outside of Edmonton. While he has worked hard to save and prepare himself for such an opportunity, leaving your home and job to compete in another country comes with a steep financial burden.

We are raising money to help offset these costs and allow him to focus on improving himself not only as a goalie but as a person while diving into a new community.
