Our friend and neighbor, Michael Werling is in the fight of his life and he, his wife Diane, and their children Ava, Gavin, and Chase need our support now more than ever.
What started as a foot infection, quickly escalated into a series of life-threatening complications: cardiac arrest, kidney failure, and the urgent need for bypass surgery. Michael’s long battle with diabetes has even further complicated things. Thanks to his strength and the incredible medical care he’s received, Michael made it through surgery, but the road ahead will be long, uncertain, and incredibly difficult.
Michael is a proud marine, a loving family man, and the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their corner. He shows up, no matter what, when you need him most. Whether it’s a middle of the night favor, a tough day that needs a laugh, or just someone to lean on, Michael is always there. He’s spent countless days on the water taking kids and friends out fishing, creating memories that last a lifetime. Generous, loyal, and grounded, he’s the person you can count on without question.
Now it’s our turn to be there for Michael, Diane, Ava, Gavin, and Chase.
With Michael unable to work and the family facing mounting medical and living expenses, we’re asking for support to help ease the financial burden so they can focus on healing and staying strong together.
The town of Littleton has already shown incredible care and kindness, and we’re grateful for this village, but there’s still a long road ahead, and every bit of help makes a difference.
Please consider donating, and if you can’t give, help us spread the word by sharing this page. Together we can help Michael, Diane, Ava, Gavin, and Chase get through this.
Thank you for your kindness and support,
