Help Support Mia’s Family During This Medical Emergency

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for sweet 6-year-old Mia and her family during an incredibly difficult time.

Mia recently underwent a surgery that, unfortunately, did not go as well as hoped. Due to complications, including a burst lung and pneumonia, Mia now faces another urgent surgery. She is currently on morphine to manage the severe pain — an unimaginable reality for any child, especially someone so young and full of life.

Mia’s parents have used all of their paid time off and are currently unable to work, as they are fully devoted to being by Mia’s side around the clock. They are also caring for Mia’s baby sister, who is just under six months old. On top of everything, Mia is currently uninsured, and the family is responsible for covering nearly 10% of the total medical costs — a burden of close to $10,000.

While GoFundMe requires a starting goal of $5,500, we are hoping and praying to raise the full amount needed to ease the financial stress on this loving family.
