Hello, my name is Megan, and I am the proud mom of Melody.

Recently, our lives took an unexpected turn when Melody was hospitalized with several serious health complications. She has been diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV/mono), kidney stones, a swollen spleen and kidney, collapsed lower lungs, and a secondary infection that has kept her very sick. It has been a scary and exhausting time as we've watched her go through test after test, treatments, and hospital stays.

Unfortunately, not all of her hospital and doctor bills are being covered by insurance, and we have already begun receiving medical bills related to her care.

About Melody:

Melody is bright, bubbly, and a friend to everyone she meets. She's determined and always pushes herself to do her best in everything she takes on. When she's not out on the volleyball court, soccer field, or track, you'll still find her outside playing, laughing, and soaking up every moment. She also loves her collection of rubber ducks and all things Stitch, which fit her playful personality perfectly.

This journey has also been hard on her siblings. Melody is the one her older siblings turn to when they want to laugh and joke around, and she's the one her younger siblings go to when they want to play games or be silly. Seeing her going through this has been difficult for all of them. She's truly the heart of their fun and their bond as siblings.
