Help support Melissa Teller-Squadritto daughters

Melissa Teller-Squadritto was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Sarcoma In February 2021, after dealing with multiple lung issues/surgeries since October 2020. She was called home on September 21, 2021. She missed the last holidays with her husband and daughters and spent it alone in the hospital with her lung issues which were ultimately thought to be caused from a bacteria wearing N95 masks she wore daily at work trying to protect herself and loved ones. Once she was finally recovering and almost back to herself she started to feel these masses through her skin. She went to the Dr's just to get another devastating diagnosis. CANCER!!! And you know what she said, I am fighting this for my children and my husband. Melissa fought with everything she could and always had a smile no matter what kept coming at her, she underwent 2 open heart surgeries, multiple rounds of chemo and radiation. Every time they thought she wouldn't make it through the night she did and woke up with a smile. She had some true super human strength. She taught us all the lesson to never give up and no matter what comes your way, don't surrender, be strong and FIGHT!!

The world and the medical community lost one of the GOOD ones. If you ever went to the dictionary and looked up the perfect human being Melissa Jo Teller-Squadritto would be the first definition. To anyone that she ever came into contact with she left an imprint. Her laugh was infectious, you could hear this petite little woman's laugh rooms away. She found the positive in everything and everyone no matter the situation. She was dedicated, loving and heard working. She was a devoted mother and wife. She was married to her amazing husband Leon for over 22 years and they had two beautiful girls Sophia (16) and Mia (10). She was the only woman I ever knew that would still blush over her husband even 22 plus years later. She loved her girls so much, and was so proud of them. Her girls are just as amazing as she was. I was blessed to know her for over 10 years on a personal and professional level. She had been a Certified Nurse Midwife for over 18 . She changed and impacted so many woman's and children's lives, they looked up to her, they adored her, they flocked to her. She had this energy about her, that made you love her the minute you met her. She always made herself available to anyone and everyone, she came in on her days off to deliver her patients, she cried at their bedsides when they received not so good news. She always let her patients access her whenever they needed. She always went above and beyond for everyone. There is not one bad thing you could ever say about MELISSA.

This Go Fund account is being made to help assist her girls through their teenage years, high school and college and also help with bills her husband has incurred as a result of Melissa being sick and out of work for the last Year.

The one thing I know everyone has learned from Melissa is to #LOVELIKEMELI

Melissa you have touched so many people, you have changed so many lives, including my own, You have an army of people that loved you, and will always keep you in their memories, May you rest in peace, Fly High with the Angels, because you are definitely an Angel to all of us.
