Hi! My name is MeiLu. I'm 30 years old and was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2025. I've recently moved back to my home in Portland, OR. For the past 5 years I worked for the Veterans Benefits Administration in Chicago, IL.

Since my diagnosis, I have undergone three surgeries, wisdom teeth removal, and egg retrieval. Next steps include chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone therapy. I am currently unemployed as I navigate my way through treatment.
