Hello! My name is Michaela and I have been spending the past decade and a half trying to figure out why I am chronically ill. My gynecologist believes that endometriosis could be a factor, so I’m scheduled to have a laparoscopy done on January 21st.

With the combination of my other issues (type 1 diabetes, Hashimoto’s, anxiety, autism, depression, and OCD), I have lots of medical expenses to begin with and will struggle to afford the surgery that I need, especially if my PTO and sick time don’t cover the 2 weeks I need off of work.
