I’m Chandra and my family and I are in need of help! I’m not one to typically ask for any kind of help but I’m doing this as my family is struggling and in need of help. So before I begin just know I don’t want anyone’s sympathy I’m a strong as bitch. It’s a long story and if you have questions please ask me…Sooo where to begin… a few years ago I noticed this little pimple on my bra line nothing out of the ordinary. It wouldn’t pop so I just left it alone. Well a few years go by and it has gotten bigger and is all bruised. I was told by many people including my doctor that it was just a cyst and to not worry about it. So obviously I don’t worry about it. Well it started to become bothersome so I tried to squeeze it around Christmas of last year…something popped inside of me and I dropped to my knees it hurt so bad. So I left it alone but in may of this year my husband insisted I get it looked at at one of my check ups. Again my doctor says it’s just a cyst but that I could get it removed. Sweet right! Well during the time in between my appointment and getting the cyst removed I had a wonderful yearly appointment with my obgyn if you’re a women you know what that means. Well they found some things they didn’t like and had biopsied. Turned out they found cervical cancer and cancer cells. So we come up with a plan of action to do a surgery. Right before my surgery in june for that I had the cyst removed and they sent it to get tested like they do everything. So a day before I’m about to have surgery to remove half my cervics do a dnc and get bad cells burned out. I got a call about my biopsy of the cyst… turns out it was in fact not a cyst but an extremely extremity rare form of deep tissue skin cancer. So rare that there are less than 1000 cases. They don’t really know a ton about it other then it’s very aggressive and is from a gene mutation and is recurring so when removed it will most likely keep coming back. It is kind of like an octopus as it has a bigger tumor that has all these tentacles coming off it with smaller tumors attached to them that invades my deep skin tissues and muscles. Also it was a very bad idea for me to pop one as it sent cancer cells to explode everywhere. So I have the cervical surgery and ended up with a terrible infection. Got that all taken care of and have a follow up in 6 months. There aren’t any scans that this cancer will show up on and the only option for treatment is to have a 12+hour surgery that I’m awake for and hope it’s not too deep or tangled so they can get it out. I was supposed to have the surgery but I canceled it because my armpit and arm on that side were painful and keep swelling up. So I went to the doctor two days ago and got some even more shitty news. My doctor thinks the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes and/or I have a secondary cancer. My lymph nodes are extremely hard and swollen. My doctor was extremely concerned and alarmed so much so she contacted the surgeon right there at my appointment to get me in as an emergency case. So the plan as of right now is I go in for a work up next week then schedule my surgery where they will also biopsy my lymph nodes. If it has spread or a second cancer has occurred like they think then I will most likely need radiation and chemo. Right now there are a lot of unknowns which is extremely terrifying but until they get me opened up we won’t know how bad it is or how deep it is. Right now I am absolutely not okay not mental or physical. I will be making a go fund me to help pay bills and take care of my babies as it’s difficult to work and I have a long hard road ahead. Please pray for me and my family and keep us in your thoughts ❤️❤️
