Hi, my name is McKinley Kersey. I am a rising senior at Western Carolina University studying theatre! For my thesis, I am directing a production of The Pirates of Penzance this coming September! This production is a fundraising event for a student organization called Cataracts Comedy Club where students come together and put on improv comedy shows! The hope is to then also take this show and add it to my portfolio to help with graduate school applications this fall.

A lot goes into making a great show: costumes, lights, sets, props, and so much more. I am hoping to raise $750 to help ensure that the quality of this production matches not only the quality of my work, but also the work of my amazing fellow student designers who have put just as much effort into this as I have!
