On Wednesday, June 25, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My sister May and brother-in-law Ben were expecting their first child and just weeks away from the due date, when we received the devastating news that the baby no longer had a heartbeat.
May was induced and delivered a beautiful baby girl, Zoe, who was already so deeply loved by our entire family. Though Zoe’s time with us ended before it truly began, her presence will be felt forever.
As they begin to grieve and process this loss, May and Ben want to honor their child’s life with a small celebration of life. This GoFundMe is to help cover:
- Funeral and memorial costs
- Medical bills not covered by insurance
- Living expenses while they take time off from work to heal—physically, emotionally, and mentally
