Help support Maxine McCosker

My name is Tania McCosker and I am hoping to raise some finacial support for my sister in law Maxine McCosker who is currently undergoing lengthy cancer treatment.

Maxine has been a member of the Bourke community on and off since the early 1990's and is well known and much loved as a happy, outgoing person with a huge heart.
Maxine has a real love of both people and animals and has worked in the health care industry most of her working life as a nurse and most recently with the eye team at Bourke Aboriginal Health Service. 

Sadly, Maxine was diagnosed in early November with Breast cancer which had already spread to her lymph nodes and required aggressive treatment. 

To receive the best treatment she can get Maxine has travelled from her home in Bourke, NSW to Ipswich, QLD where she is currently having chemotherapy. 
Maxine has already received 12 weeks of chemo and has another 12 weeks to go before she will find out how successful it has been. 

No matter how effective  the chemo has been, Maxine will still face surgery (possibly in May this year) and then after approximately 6 weeks to heal she will also have to undergo radiation therapy also.

We are unsure exactly how long Maxine will be away receiving her treatment but expect it to be the best part of the year. 

Maxine has had to take time of work to receive her treatment which of course means that finances are tight but the bills still keep coming in.
