Help Support Max Through His Difficult Health Journey

Hi y’all! My name is Rocky Howe. I’m a tattooer and member of a wonderful community in SoCal. I’m here to advocate for a friend, coworker, and incredible artist, Max (formerly Lux) Skibel. Recently, Max was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that has brought him great pain, taken away mobility, and worsened his mental health as well. He is a wonderful parent to a young son, a blooming tattooer, and an incredible part of our queer community. All of these things are affected by his condition, as he is also navigating many, many medical appointments, medications, and treatments while his insurance doesn’t begin to cover (a small amount) of his needs until the end of the year. Max just needs some support before it takes away all his security and basic needs, so he can get treatment and hopefully recover enough to keep tattooing and be healthy enough to have some fun with his kid.
