Help Support Matt’s Epilepsy Battle
Donation protected
Randomly in the middle of his life just about 2 years ago, my fairly healthy husband and father of our 3 girls, developed a debilitating epilepsy condition. November of 2021, this condition got so bad Matthew had to stop working. He suffers from 3-10 massive seizures a month, that wipe him out completely and have caused significant damage to his brain and body. Not only does Matt need several brain surgeries but two full shoulder replacements as well from injuries caused by the seizures. Matthew doesn’t remember marrying me, many family members passing, or his children being born. To say I’m heartbroken would be an understatement. I’ve tried to make it as long as I could without asking for help but Matthew’s medical care and medication are keeping him alive. We are currently traveling to/from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for the next 6-8 months give or take and he’s on 6 different medications that cost upwards of several hundred dollars per month after insurance. Many of the medication coupons have a max benefit that was depleted in the first few months. We are asking for any help you’re willing to provide and are grateful for anything.
