Support Matthew Virgin-Greyson's Heart Transplant

Donation protected
Matthew Virgin-Greyson is in need of your help. Matthew was diagnosed with a heart condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy at 8 years old. This occurs when the left ventricle of the heart, the heart's main pumping chamber, is enlarged (dilated). As the chamber of the heart gets larger, the thick muscular wall stretches becoming thinner and weaker. Over time, this affects the heart's ability to pump enough oxygen-rich blood to the rest of the body. As a result of this condition, Matthew was never able to have the same kind of activity filled life that his friends did as most physical activities posed an immediate risk to his heart and health. At age 17, Matthew's heart gave out and he underwent a Heart Transplant surgery at the Children's Hospital of Milwaukee. Despite his lifetime of difficulties, ranging from being diagnosed with a life-threatening condition at an early age, tragically losing his father at the age of 14, losing other key family members along the way, spending months in the hospital and missing most of his senior year of high school to undergo his transplant, Matthew has continued to work hard to carve a better life for himself. He was able to complete his courses and graduate from high school. He then worked locally for a couple of years to be able to afford attending Madison Tech for the past 2 years and attain his degree in Digital Marketing. He recently just received a career opportunity in the field and company he's been wanting to work in/for. July 2023 marked the 9 year anniversary of his heart transplant and just when his star was on the rise, tragedy has struck him once again, and his body has now started to reject his new heart causing him to become very ill. There is no reversal of the rejection and Matt's only recourse is another Heart Transplant. His Mom (Kathy) and I are attempting to raise money to help support Matt financially in his journey to make it through yet another transplant and all the medical bills and life expenses that go along with such a procedure. Anyone wishing to to send checks/cash directly may do so by making checks out to:
