My name is Amanda; I've created this GoFundMe for my coworker Matt Smith in the hope of helping with his medical bills and monthly living expenses.

If you have the pleasure of knowing Matt, you know his kindness was infectious; for example, my dryer recently went out. Matt personally found me a dryer and delivered it to my home after a long day of hard work.

On July 6th, Matt was burned severely in an accidental fire while on the job. He is currently in Seattle at Harbor View Hospital in the burn unit. He is in critical condition. The medical professionals estimate over 70% of his body, including his face, was burned. At this time, it is unknown exactly how long he will be out of work. However, he will have a long road to recovery ahead of him. I hope we can all come together with prayers and donations to remove the financial burden and allow Matt to focus all his energy on his recovery. We appreciate every donation and prayer!
