Life can change in an instant.

Following a devastating motocross accident, Matt suffered a severe spinal injury that has left him paraplegic. After undergoing complex spinal surgery, he now faces a long road of recovery, rehabilitation, and adapting to a completely different way of life.

Matt is a devoted husband to Hannah and a loving father to Sophie and Lucas. He has always been someone who gives his all—whether it's for his family, his friends, or on the motocross track. If you've ever met Matt, you'll know he's the kind of person who's always willing to lend a hand, offer support, or show up when someone needs him. Now, it's our turn to stand beside him and his family.

Over the coming months, Matt will begin intensive specialist spinal rehabilitation as he works towards regaining as much independence as possible. While Matt focuses on his recovery, Hannah will be by his side, supporting him while also caring for Sophie and Lucas and navigating the many changes that come with such a life-changing injury.

Anyone who knows Matt and Hannah also knows they would never ask for help. In fact, accepting it is one of the hardest things for them. But the reality is, they are going to need the support of the community that loves them so much.
