Mary was recently diagnosed with a rare form of uterine cancer called Leiomyosarcoma that will require a total hysterectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation.
In addition to this during some of her scans a secondary thyroid cancer was discovered and she will need surgery to address this as well I’m the next few months.
Mary has been a medical assistant at College Park Family Care Center for years and in the past year left her full-time job to go back to nursing school and therefore is in between medical insurances.
Since she is only 26, Mary and her husband Jesus would love to have a family of their own one day. She is currently undergoing fertility treatment to harvest her eggs in hopes that this dream can occur through surrogacy in the future
Mary has already incurred significant medical expenses from her recent hospitalization and she has surgeries and therapies to follow. She will also be unable to work for several weeks following her abdominal surgery and during treatment.
Please come along side Mary with whatever donations you can offer to help ease at least the financial burden of cancer.
