HELP SUPPORT MARK’S JOURNEY- HAMDEN NATIVE

The goal of this GoFundMe is to provide much needed financial and moral support for Mark Schettino and his family in his continual fight.

Mark dedicates himself to health in all aspects of life, works hard for his family, and moves forward with a thriving determination to avoid any return of cancer. His energy is a joy to be around, and he always spreads great vibes to everyone he comes in contact with. Whether it is through his love for organic gardening in the great outdoors, or just being around friends. 

Mark lost a lung to cancer in 2015 and lived through extremely high doses of chemo. Recently, due to being immune compromised, Mark became extremely sick, and has been bed-ridden for over two weeks, unable to work at all, which has pushed him up against a wall of major escalating financial burden. Mark will continue on his course of medical treatment until he is completely healthy, but the financial burden on Mark and his family is already daunting. 

Mark discusses his condition with great optimism. In spite of a daily regime of anti-cancer medication and a strict diet, he looks and feels good, by his own account. He is doing what he can to sell personal items and anything he can let go of in order to help fund his battle for life. But he needs additional support at this time as the day to day expenses are not slowing down. He wants people to know that he is going to win the fight against any opposing health factors. He is absolutely correct and I want him to know that I have a team of supporters that will help see him through.
