Help Support Mark Foust and His Family Through His Heart Transplant Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters,

We are reaching out on behalf of Mark Foust, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who is currently facing the fight of his life.

After more than a month at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Mark has been on a heart pump while awaiting life-saving treatment. Doctors at Hopkins determined that a transplant surgery was too risky to perform there. Mark was recently transported by medical flight to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Tennessee, where, after a battery of extensive tests, he was officially placed on the heart transplant list.

By the grace of God and the tireless work of his medical team, Mark is scheduled to receive a donor heart today at 5 PM.

While this is the miracle we’ve all been praying for, it’s just the beginning of a long and challenging journey. After the transplant, Mark will require close medical monitoring and rehabilitation for at least a year. This means that his devoted wife and daughter will need to temporarily (1year) relocate to Tennessee to be near Vanderbilt as he recovers.
