Our sweet friend Marilyn was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (IDC) and is getting ready to start treatment soon. She’ll begin with surgery, followed by chemotherapy, radiation, and then a second surgery.

Marilyn is a devoted mom to Zoë (9) and Zachary (2). She’s also been working hard toward her bachelor’s degree in computer science, hoping to graduate this December—but treatment will have to come first.

As you can imagine, this is a lot for anyone, especially a single mom with two little ones. She’ll need extra help with childcare, day-to-day expenses, and all the unexpected costs that come with treatment. We’d love to help ease some of that burden so she can focus on healing and being there for Zoë and Zachary.
