Help Support Mari Thomas’s family.

Mari Thomas went to the emergency room in Midland, TX on March 10, 2025, after suffering multiple symptoms. She was diagnosed with sepsis and admitted. In the following days, she underwent a battery of tests and was seen by several specialists. The tests did not reveal the source of the infection, and her organs began to fail. She is on dialysis as well as a ventilator. Mari may require additional specialized machinery that the hospital in Midland doesn’t have, so she has been transferred to Medical City Plano Hospital, Plano, TX.

Her husband, Nathan, as well as her mother and sister, have been by her side as much as allowed. But this has put a tremendous financial burden on them. Although Mari has health insurance, co-payments will be exorbitant. The immediate need will be for traveling expenses, food, and lodging.
