If you know Marcy, then you know she's warm, witty, and full of spirit. If she's your friend, she's probably the most loyal ride-or-die you know. If she's your hostess, server, or manager, she's likely making your experience one-of-a-kind. She is the brightest and most caring person in the world, but since December 30, 2025, she has been in the ICU/hospital facing critical lung and heart issues. The sudden change has been overwhelming to say the least, both emotionally and financially, as we navigate the uncertainty of her recovery and the mounting medical and personal expenses.
We look forward to the day we can bring her home, but the costs of ongoing care and daily expenses continue to grow. The funds raised will go directly toward hospital and potential rehab facility bills, essential home supplies and equipment, and the home care needed to support her transition back. These resources will also help cover personal expenses, including rent and veterinarian bills (having just lost one of her dogs—Chewy), ensuring that Marcy can focus on healing without the added stress of financial strain.
Marcy is the last person to ask for help, but I know she's given so much of herself to her friends and community (I'm looking at you San Diego/Julian/Solvang) her entire life...so that's where Andy (her favorite son) comes in...we need help! She’ll need time, care, and community support to regain her strength, but she still has a lot of fight left in her! By contributing to this GoFundMe, you’re giving her the best chance to recover and manage life at home again. Thank you from the entire Lehman and McCleery families. We are deeply grateful for any support, knowing that every contribution brings us closer to having her home and comfortable again.
