Marcos Geovani Sanchez is a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many.
His beautiful young soul has been taken from us way too soon.
Marcos was many things, but the best words to describe him are strong willed, outspoken, big-hearted, and fearless. Marcos never failed to have a whole room laughing. Marcos devoted his time to his family and friends and never failed to show them love and support for their life goals and successes. Having to process and accept the idea that my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV Secondary Liver Cancer was very devastating to so many of us. When this happened, we had recently been married and were preparing to welcome our first-born child home. At the happiest moment of my life, everything changed. Work, life, and as the days went by, everything became too overwhelming for us.
From this experience, I can say I am grateful for the fact that my husband fought until his very last breath. My husband was still my husband even throughout the pain and the heartache; he never stopped being his high-spirited self throughout the entire journey. Even until the end, he was still making jokes and being the smart-ass he is. Although the tumor grew dramatically and the fact of the matter became transparent that the cancer was incurable, Marcos never doubted in his mind that he wouldn’t overcome this tragedy. With humor, spirit, love, and a positive attitude, Marcos fell asleep in peace. This care-free spirit never stopped fighting. He fought for his daughter, his wife, his family, and all his loved ones. I had the most incredible opportunity to connect, protect, grow, vow, and love his beautiful soul. In return, the Lord blessed us with a beautiful, healthy baby girl, and for this, I will forever be grateful. I will cherish every living moment I spent with my husband and will honor him until the end of my time. The Lord has welcomed a strong, mighty Angel into his kingdom who remains in our hearts, will never be forgotten, and will forever be missed. All of your donations are truly appreciated, as these donations will help our family relieve the financial hardship we are now enduring. We are thankful for all of the love, support, and prayers.
