Hello my name is Christina, I'm writing this in regards to my mother in law Marcela. Our family has been going through a very difficult time since last week when Marcela suffered a stroke on 1/08/25 due to high blood pressure complications. She was transferred to U of M Hospital for emergency surgery where they removed two blood clots from her brain. The surgery was successful in removing the clots, however the damage was irreparable and she was placed on life support.

We were praying for a miracle and waited a week for her to wake up. Unfortunately her condition deteriorated and the doctors confirmed there was no brain activity. With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Marcela, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She brought so much love, joy, and kindness into the lives of everyone that knew her and donated so much of her time to the community.

As we come together to honor Marcela's memory, we are reaching out for the support to help cover the unexpected medical and funeral costs. The total expenses have placed a financial burden on our family, and any contribution-big or small-will make a difference.

Mi nombre es Christina. Les escribo en nombre de mi suegra, Marcela. Nuestra familia ha estado pasando por un momento muy difícil desde la semana pasada, cuando Marcela sufrió un derrame cerebral el 8 de enero de 2025 debido a complicaciones de presión arterial alta. Fue trasladada al Hospital U of M para operarla de emergencia, donde le extrajeron dos coágulos del cerebro. La cirugía logró eliminar los coágulos, sin embargo, el daño fue irreparable, el cual la llevó a un estado de coma.

Estábamos orando por un milagro y esperamos una semana para que despertara. Desafortunadamente, su condición se deterioró y los médicos confirmaron que no había actividad cerebral. Con gran pesar, compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestra amada Marcela; esposa, madre, abuela y amiga. Ella trajo tanto amor, alegría y amabilidad a las vidas de todos los que la conocieron, además era gran parte de la comunidad.

Al reunirnos para honrar la memoria de Marcela, estamos pidiendo apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los costos médicos y funerarios inesperados. Los gastos totales han supuesto una gran carga financiera para nuestra familia y cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, marcará la diferencia.
