On Saturday, October 19th, Roswell, NM was drenched in an all-time, record setting rain. Extreme overnight rainfall brought severe flooding, stranding motorists and sweeping away cars. Our parents, Manuel and Janie Montoya, had their vehicles flooded, but most critically suffered severe damage to their home as flood water entered the house, climbing almost 4-feet high in the den. Along with the vast majority of Roswellites, our parents did not carry flood insurance and will thus be relying on government aid and the generous support of family and friends to begin the process of repairing the house and replacing vehicles. Please consider donating towards our efforts as we work to restore our parents house and home.
