Help support Mandy & Poppy with their Cancer-ME-CFS Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Kelly-Ann.
My heart is heavy as I reach out to ask for your help. I'm raising much needed funds for an incredibly special family in my life, my dearest friends, Mandy, Molly, Poppy and Monty, as they face an incredibly difficult time.
If you’re able, please join me in showing them love and support. Every bit of kindness makes a difference.

Mandy is a devoted mother to three adult children and was recently diagnosed with stage four Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (CLL/SLL). She has already completed four months of treatment and has now entered the next stage, which has brought worsening side effects and left her feeling exhausted and burnt out. With another 12 months of treatment still ahead, Mandy has been forced to reduce her work to part-time.
At the same time, her 21-year-old daughter, Poppy, has faced a devastating decline in her health. What was once moderate ME/CFS has now progressed to severe/very severe, leaving her bedbound for the past three months. Poppy now spends her days in a darkened room, unable to walk, barely able to sit up, and at times experiencing temporary paralysis or losing the ability to speak and communicate.
On top of this, Poppy is also living with multiple chronic illnesses, including Long Covid, Fibromyalgia, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and severe/very severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS). These conditions cause debilitating symptoms that mean she cannot care for herself independently and requires constant support in an attempt to stabilise her health.
This has meant that while Mandy battles cancer and undergoes her own treatment, she and her daughter Molly have taken on the primary role of caring for Poppy. Molly, though often fails to keep up with care taking duties through autistic burn out and her own health issues. And Monty, the youngest, is currently completing Year 12. The emotional and financial strain of this situation has been overwhelming, and Mandy is now facing the heavy toll of carer burnout while trying to hold her family together and recover.‘
We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden during this incredibly challenging time. Donations will go towards supporting Mandy, Poppy and their family so they can focus on treatment, care, and recovery.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and support.

What your donations will fund:
-Medical and treatment-related costs not fully covered, including medications, supplements, and specialised care for both Mandy and Poppy.
-Equipment and accessibility needs to make daily life more manageable for Poppy (e.g., mobility aids, special bedding, communication tools).
-Household expenses that pile up when income is reduced (utilities, groceries, bills).
-Covering fees for support work hours to ensure Poppy receives adequate care to relieve Mandy and Molly of worsening burnout and health decline. With the goal of providing full time support.
