If you have ever visited Manar Park, you have probably seen my sister Alexis and myself (Georgia) at the office, or our Dad, Dave, driving around the park on the quad or buggy, waving to everyone as he passed.

This land has been in our family since 1903. For more than 120 years, generations of Laidlers have lived on it, worked it and loved it. In 1996, Mum and Dad began building Manar Park together, turning their shared dream into a place where families, friends and outdoor lovers could come together, enjoy the property and make memories that would last a lifetime.

In 2002, we lost Mum. It broke our hearts, and it could easily have been the end of the dream. But Dad refused to let it go. He kept building, kept working and kept the gates open, carrying on what he and Mum had started together, with the help of so many wonderful people along the way.

For Dad, Manar Park has never been just a business. It is his home, his livelihood and the place where Alexis and I grew up. Every track, every campsite and every corner of the property carries a piece of our family's story, and a piece of Mum. Nothing has made Dad prouder than watching other families enjoy it the way ours always has.

Sadly, Manar Park has had to close to the public and now operates only for private events. This is because of two legal claims relating to past incidents in which visitors were injured while riding on the property. As the proceedings are still active, we are unable to share any further details about the incidents or the claims.

These claims have now been going on for four long years. With the park closed, Dad has lost his main source of income, and the legal costs have kept coming. The financial pressure has grown year after year, and we have now reached a point we never imagined.

We need to be honest with you about how serious this has become. Without help, there is a very real chance that Manar Park will be lost forever. The land that has stayed in our family for over a century, the park Mum and Dad built with their own hands, and the place so many of you have made memories could be gone for good.

We are not only fighting for Manar Park. We are also fighting for the future of recreational motorsports and outdoor recreation in Australia, so that places like this can continue to exist for the next generation.

Dad is a hardworking country man. He never set out to get rich from Manar Park. His passion was simply creating a place where people could get outdoors, spend time together and be happy.

Watching Dad and Jeanett carry this weight for four years has been one of the hardest things our family has ever been through. The constant stress, the uncertainty and the fear of losing everything has taken a real toll on their health and marriage. There have been sleepless nights, worry that never switches off, and days when the strain has been impossible to hide. As his daughters, it is heartbreaking to see the man who has always looked after everyone else struggling under a burden this heavy.

It has affected all of us. As a family, we have felt the stress and the heartache together, and we are worried about what continuing like this will mean for Dad's wellbeing.

Dad has never been someone who asks for help. Reaching out like this has been incredibly hard for him and for all of us. But we have reached the point where we simply cannot do this alone.
Every dollar raised will go directly towards helping Dad meet the ongoing legal fees associated with these claims.

With the park no longer open to the public, these costs have become overwhelming. Every donation, no matter the size, will help lift some of the weight from Dad's shoulders and give Manar Park a fighting chance.

If you have ever ridden at Manar Park, brought your kids for their first ride, spent a weekend camping under the stars or simply shared a yarn with Dad by the office, we hope you will consider standing with us now.

If you are able to donate, it will truly make a difference. And if you are not in a position to give, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family and anyone who has a connection to Manar Park means just as much to us.

For years, Dad opened his home and shared the place he loves most with all of you. Now we are asking if you can help him through the hardest chapter of his life.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading Dad's story, for donating if you can, for sharing, and for standing behind our family. Every message, every share and every dollar reminds Dad that he is not facing this alone.

With love and gratitude,
Georgia, Alexis, Dave and Jeanett Laidler
