Help Support Mama T on her Cancer Journey!

Donation protected
About a month ago, our world shifted when my mom, Trisha, was diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. The cancer has since spread to her abdominal wall, and though the road ahead is difficult, we are standing strong with her every step of the way.

This journey has brought overwhelming emotions for our entire family—my sisters and I, our dad, our aunts, uncle, grandparents—and most deeply, for our mom. But in the face of fear and uncertainty, we are holding on to hope, to faith, and to the unwavering strength that our mom has always shown us.

Trisha is so much more than a diagnosis. She is the heart and soul of our family—our steady hand, our calming voice, our safe place. She's the kind of person who makes every room brighter, who gives without ever expecting anything in return, and who shows up for everyone she loves with her whole heart. With three daughters, a new grandson, and a granddaughter on the way, she’s spent her life caring for others—and now it’s time for us to care for her.

Her treatment plan includes a major surgery and six rounds of chemotherapy. While the chemo can be done locally, she will need to travel to Barrie for surgery and to Sudbury for ongoing appointments with her oncology team. These trips, paired with the reality of a single-income household and the fact that she’s unable to work during treatment, have created a financial strain.

We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for your help—whether it's a donation or simply sharing this page. Your support will go directly toward:

Travel and accommodation for medical appointments

Out-of-pocket medical costs

Household expenses during her recovery

No gesture is too small. Every share, every dollar, every kind word makes a difference. Your generosity will allow us to focus on what matters most: standing beside our mom, lifting her up, and helping her fight this with strength, grace, and love.

We believe in her. We believe in healing. And with your help, we believe we can make this journey a little lighter for someone who has carried so many for so long.

Thank you for being part of her story—and ours.

With all our love and gratitude,
Valerie & Family ❤️

July 13 Update- Mom is going to see the surgeon in Barrie for a Pre-Op appointment to come up with a date for the surgery, she will be leaving Tuesday as her appointment is Wednesday morning! However, she went for a catscan on Friday July 11 and upon getting her results back, was informed there is a cherry sized mass on the right frontal lobe of her brain, which also now needs to be biopsied and tested, and she will need to be set up with a Neurologist

Aug 1 Update- She went for an MRI for the mass on the brain which came back cancerous, according to the oncologist in Sudbury, it was a 2% chance for her Ovarian Cancer to spread to the brain. She was supposed to start Chemo this coming Tuesday, but due to the severity of the mass, and the symptoms it’s causing, they are now delaying Chemo to do surgery first to remove the mass in a few weeks
