Hi everyone! My name is Makayla Jaffe, and I’m the proud owner of SetInStoneByMika! I create a wide variety of handmade, Reiki-infused crystal jewelry and accessories. I launched my small business on Etsy in January 2023 while also juggling the demands of being a full-time college student!

I’m incredibly grateful for the growth and support my shop has received so far, it’s helped me achieve many of my personal goals. Now, I’m excited to take the next step: expanding into local shops, farmers markets, and more!

Currently, I sell exclusively on Etsy and offer local pickup, but to grow further, I’ll need to establish an LLC, which costs about $350, obtain a vendor’s license which is about $12 for the state, but each city has separate fees, and secure the funds necessary to rent booths at local events which can cost between $45-$75 a booth at each event. Any financial help would also help me purchase several necessary jewelry displays which can cost anywhere between $5-$60, purchase more business cards which can cost anywhere between $15-$30, buy a custom banner for local events which can cost anywhere between$30-$80, buy more jewelry making supplies such as beads, charms, elastic string, etc, which can cost anywhere between $4-$35 each, depending on the supplies and also packaging supplies for the jewelry that I make which can cost anywhere between $2-$25. It’s a big and pricey leap, but one I’m passionate about—and any support toward reaching that next chapter would mean the world to me!
