Our dear friend Maggie, an extraordinary nurse and human being, has recently been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer. Fiercely independent, endlessly kind, and always thinking of others, Maggie has a cheeky sense of humour, a love for a good glass of wine, and devotion to her adored cat Lily.

Maggie now faces a gruelling regime of chemotherapy and radiation, meaning time away from work and mounting financial pressures. She also has a mortgage and everyday expenses to manage, all while focusing on her treatment and recovery.

Anyone who knows Maggie knows she’s a hoot—quick-witted, stubborn in the best way, and always ready to lift your spirits. She gives so much to everyone around her, and now it’s our turn to give back.
