Our daughter Maelynn recently went through a medical emergency, a Spontaneous Pneumothorax, on July 23, 2025. Her lung collapsed almost completely, and she has had to undergo treatments and surgerys. She is currently admitted to Primary Children's Hospital with a chest tube and we have no news of when she can get discharged.
If you know Maelynn, she is a spit fire and super spunky, full of life and so talented. She loves nail art, playing the piano and guitar. She is very selfless and caring, and always puts others first. We want her back home, healed, and feeling like herself again so she can enjoy her senior year of high school.
We’re facing this without health insurance or any financial aid, and the medical bills are quickly adding up. Any donation, would mean so much to us right now.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing. Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your kindness.
Update: on Maelynn: She was still leaking air from her lungs on Wednesday . She went back into surgery that evening and they discovered she had another bubble burst right next to the one they had stapled shut. Today they turned off suction and will check in the morning to see if all is fixed. If so, the tubes will be removed and she will finally after 17 days be able to come homehopefully.
We just want to say a big thank you for all who have donated. We are so overwhelmed at the generosity. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. Thank you and please keep Maelynn in your prayers.
