Hi, Everybody, I'm Michael Sterling Farris. My sweet girl, Maeby, was rushed to ER late Friday after a long week of vet visits, diagnosing appetite loss and vomiting, stabilizing, and relapsing. I was creating this GoFundMe Friday night, in anticipation of x-rays and probably surgery, which we couldn't afford, on Saturday, when Maeby suffered a violent vomiting spell. The ER vets ran x-rays and found an obstruction in her intestine. Fortunately, they were able to perform surgery and remove it, and she is now in recovery. Unfortunately, the expense of surgery and vet visits for the past week has reached more than $4,000, and we are struggling to cover the bills. I know things are tight for everyone these days, but if you can spare anything at all, it is greatly appreciated. All donations will be used to pay down the vet bills incurred this week.
