Last weekend, on September 12th, Madison was violently attacked by 2 individuals at her apartment complex. She has been living there alone and caring for her dog, Toshi for the past year+. Last weekend, she went outside on the buildings porch to sit and enjoy fresh air, when 2 people who also lived on her property came up and verbally assaulted and then physically attacked her with Bear Mace. The assailants maliciously attacked her, spraying her directly in the eyes, face, and body. She went blind for nearly an hour, covered in burns, intense pain, mental trauma, and lasting PTSD since. She was rushed to the hospital with the help of police and firefighters, where they were able to transport her by ambulance to receive care and relief. The side effects of this attack have lasting side affects that including difficulty breathing, talking, anxiety, PTSD, and muscular weakness, as well as needing assistance neurologically and physically, socially and emotionally.

While this GoFundMe is a temporary aid, it will provide her enough to get by for the next following weeks to assist in the cost of her urgent needs as well as helping her to be able to afford legal assistance in following steps.
