Help Support Madison After the Loss of Her Mother

Hi, my name is Myah Pitts and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, Madison, who recently lost her mother, Kathryn Bowers, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was beautifully strong and endlessly loving. She faced every part of her journey with grace and grit, never once letting go of her fierce love for her daughter, Madison. She fought her illness with incredible grace and determination, always putting her daughter first. Her strength and love were constant, even through the hardest days.

Now, at just 21 years old, Madison, who also lost her father nearly 11 years ago, is forced to navigate this life without either of her parents. She’s trying to finish college, navigate adulthood, hold onto her home, keep up with bills, her puppy kiwi and simply survive—all while mourning the loss of her best friend and biggest supporter. It’s more than anyone her age should ever have to carry. That’s why I’m asking for your help.

We are hoping to raise $30,000 to try and ease the burden of any financial hardship that will come her way as she starts this next chapter on her own.

My aunt Kathryn loved her daughter more than anything. She fought hard to stay here for her. I know if she could ask one thing of the world right now, it would be to help make sure Madison is taken care of. Madison is resilient and strong, but no one should have to face this journey alone.
