Our family is deeply grateful that my niece, Maddy, has been accepted into St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). While St. Jude is covering a lot of expenses there in Memphis, my brother and his wife face costs for flights back and forth to handle obligations related to their lives in Las Vegas. along with essentials like gas, groceries, utilities, mortgages, Car payments, and other miscellaneous things that just come up in life.

Additionally, with their focus shifting entirely to Maddy and her fight for her life, they will be losing wages for much of the next six to nine months. We want to ensure they have the support they need to navigate this challenging time without the added burden of these financial stresses to cover their mortgage and other home utilities.
