Help Support Mack: Surgery and Recovery

Hi! I’m Mack and I work at my local food bank running a mobile pantry program. In early July I will be having a surgery, and due to this I won’t be able to work for around a month afterwards to recover.
I’m the main source of income for my family and the cut to our household income will make things very difficult, as well as the extra costs associated with the surgery. I will be able to receive short term disability but only at 60% of my typical pay.
Funds will go to:
- Gas for appointments related to the surgery
- The short hotel stay before/after surgery
- Helping cover groceries and some bills that I will be short on due to the pay decrease with short term disability
- Getting post-op care supplies such as wound dressings, surgery pillows, etc.
