On December 10, 2025, Lyta Gold’s mother suddenly and tragically passed.

We have all been whipped around by the cascading economic devastation of 2025, with massive layoffs, reductions in grant funding, runaway inflation, and the stress of trying to keep it together. Many of Lyta’s closest support system have also been affected, so we are widening the ask of support.

If you have ever experienced traumatic grief, you know that among other things, it affects your cognition. Our goal is to help ease some of Lyta’s stress by providing a few months of cushion where she will not have to stress about rustling up freelance work and paying bills while dealing with intense grief.
