You may know that Lynne's been battling uterine cancer and is scheduled for surgery in the weeks ahead — this comes on the heels of a series of health crises that began in May 2020, when we almost lost her. The diagnosis, though not good news, has given Lynne a target to focus on and tackle: ‘I feel like if I can make it through this surgery and beat this cancer, I'll be on the other side of this hell.’

The good news is Lynne has confidence in her care team. Her surgery is scheduled to last 9+ hours. She expects to be in the hospital for at least two weeks to monitor post-op and manage wound care. From there, her recovery will be multiple months where Lynne’s primary focus needs to be her health above all else.

Up until now, Lynne has kept working through these challenges – client work, meetings, reports, you name it. As a Canadian, thankfully her healthcare costs are covered. But living expenses are another thing. That’s what brings us here. It takes a village.
