As many of you know there was an awful accident that took place near Laurel Bush involving two boys from the neighborhood this morning.

Lucas and Sam were flown out by helicopter to John’s Hopkins where they have been receiving the best care possible.

They both have a long road of recovery ahead. Lucas will need extensive plastic surgery to his face/jaw. Surgery for other areas is still a possibility but they are still in the beginning phases. Sam also has a hand and jaw injury and broken ribs.

I have been with Courtney in the PICU all day and I can honestly say she is one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. The things she witnessed no parent should ever have to. I’m asking as a community to come together and please pray for her and her family! Along with Sam’s. They need love & support as much as possible right now.
