Hello there and thanks for reading. My name is Louis Cao and I have been a little athlete since Under 6. At 8 years old, after COVID added to my already solid build, my coach told me I had the perfect body for throws. It gave me the confidence to train hard and keep improving. This lead to appearances at State Championships and I have now, at the tender age of ten, qualified to represent Team Vic at the National Championships for all schools in Launceston, Tasmania in November.

I surprised even myself in being selected for not only discus but for shot put as well!

I have been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of so many already and, after being asked by a few if they could chip in for the costs such as uniform, levy and flights and accommodation, I am asking if anyone might contribute a little to this go fund me page.

Athletics isn't my only sport - I have started squad development swimming this year as well as squad tennis and am a well regarded junior AFL player. Sports is life is my motto. So my family is used to watching and cheering but I really want my mum and grandma to both be on the sidelines at the opening and closing ceremonies for this!

If you wouldn't mind sparing a dime if you can, or otherwise sharing this if you can't, I would be extremely grateful. Otherwise just wish me all the luck you can spare x
