Hi, my name is Renée

As some of you might already know, and to those who are now just finding out, my beautiful friend and sister Louann, in the early morning hours of Monday November 28th, suffered a debilitating stroke in the middle of the night, outside her place of employment in the midst of freezing temperatures. By the grace of God an unknown homeless human angel found her & called 911, Louann survived and wound up at Penrose Hospital registered as a Jane Doe until her sons, Jeremy and Michael were able to locate their mom after frantically searching for two days.

Since then & with a long road ahead, Louann has been making tremendous strides at a rehabilitation center to get her life back with the continued support of loving family, friends and her own unwavering faith, courage, grit and determination. (And please let’s not forget Lulus infectious sense of humor!) She will remain at the rehab facility with the goal to transfer home at the end of the week where she will receive intensive outpatient and in-home care.

During this time, and for the unforeseeable future Louann is unable to return to work with uncertainty as to when she will be able to do so.

Since the devastating effects of a stroke can unexpectedly strike anyone at any time, none of us know when life will suddenly leave us needing the support of others to carry us through. That is why we are so grateful for your prayers, love and support during this challenging season in Louann‘s story.

On the behalf of Louann and her family, I am asking anyone who knows her to consider donating and sharing to help aid her in the recovery process. All donations will go straight to Louann’s recovery, including loss of income and any other needs that may come up along the way. Especially the need for Louann to keep her home, which is instrumental for her ability to safely and comfortably recover in the months to come.
