Help Support Lori LaPoma in Her Fight Against Advanced Lung Cancer

Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for our sister, Lori LaPoma, who was recently diagnosed with stage IV lung adenocarcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer that spread to her liver, bones, abdomen, pancreas region, and brain.

This news has been overwhelming, and everything has changed very quickly.

Lori is one of the strongest and most loving people we know. She is a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, and coworker—someone who always shows up for others, even in her hardest moments. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Even with such an advanced diagnosis, Lori hasn’t stopped fighting. Her medical team is working to manage symptoms and give her every opportunity to continue this fight with dignity and strength. She is doing everything she can to stay positive and present for her family, but she cannot fight this alone. The financial strain of medical bills, time away from work, time for appointments, and planning for care has placed a tremendous burden on her and the people closest to her.
