Our dad, Anthony Lorenz, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. He is now home on hospice.
This news has been a heartbreaking shock to all of us, and we are all doing our best to keep him comfortable by showing him as much love as possible. We appreciate the amount of love in the form of meals, prayers, and visitors during these last few weeks and want to express our sincerest gratitude for everyone's support.
Our mom, Hannah, is on leave from work to care for Anthony. She will quickly run out of vacation, sick time, and will be on unpaid leave. We are unsure how the next couple months will unfold and are reaching out to our community in hopes to relieve their financial stress. We would greatly appreciate any financial contribution to help maintain their health insurance, bills, and unforeseen costs for Anthony's care.
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank you. It truly takes a village.
With love and gratitude,
The Lorenz Family
