Hi, my name is Courtney, and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my stepdad Lonnie. Over the last few years, Lonnie's health has declined rapidly. Recently, this past January, he had 3 surgeries on his foot, ankle, and leg. This left him unable to work. Needless to say, the surgeries did not work, and as a result, he is now suffering from extensive nerve damage. Unfortunately, in part due to his type of heart failure, the damage done is irreversible and will only get worse. Lonnie will have multiple doctor's appointments, therapy, and medication for the unforeseeable future. It has also caused so much damage that he has difficulty with even walking and is unable to return to work full-time. Insurance doesn't cover much of his medical needs and since he has been unable to work we are trying to defray some of the medical costs. I am setting up this account to help cover some of those costs. If you are able to contribute, thank you. Lonnie is not one to ask for help as he is normally the one helping others.
