Faces and Heels is a documentary that explores the vibrant duality of the wrestling group Enjoy, as they navigate personal lives filled with challenges and the exhilarating performances of their larger-than-life stage personas, revealing the powerful intersection of identity, community, and self-expression.

Some featured subjects within the piece are:

Sonny Kiss, current Enjoy wrestling champion, formerly wrestling for Lucha Underground, AEW, and TNA Wrestling.

Duke Davis, one half of the Enjoy wrestling tag-team champions The Main Event.

Mikey Montgomery, the explosive athlete who is quickly making a name for himself in the northeast independent scene.

The Runway, the most fashionable tag team in all of wrestling.

Meet the filmmakers:

Brad Grimm: Director: Brad’s journey in visual storytelling ignited at age eleven when he picked up his first camera. While studying film at Robert Morris University, he made history as the first student in three decades to claim both the prestigious College Television Awards and secure a National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Internship. Brad elevated branded content for global icons including Lexus, McDonald's, Showtime, CNN, BMW, and Budweiser. His innovative approach garnered multiple Addy and Promax awards. Driven by his passion for filmmaking, Brad's directorial vision helped shape The History Channel's hit series "The Food That Built America." His episodes not only achieved the series' highest IMDB ratings but also secured top 10 Nielsen ratings across both seasons he directed. Most recently, Brad created the original series "Intrusion." After independently financing and directing a proof of concept pilot, the project caught the attention of industry powerhouses CAA and Grandview, leading to active development with Littleton Road for Universal Studios.

Vincent Cassano: Producer: Vincent is a local Pittsburgh filmmaker, whose recent credits range from Lead Producer & Director of two commercials for NBCU. Vincent’s background in documentary stems from directing a project focused on tattoo artists that did cover-ups for racist and harmful pieces. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023.

Funding Impact: With an important production upcoming in March, the support would directly benefit local filmmakers in Pittsburgh that would be assisting in making this production possible. Many times, local filmmakers will have to choose between working for free or for non-livable wages and retail jobs that don’t service their growth in the industry, and we hope to counteract that.
