Help Support Lisa with Recovery Expenses
Hi. My name is Sharon Waters and I'm fundraising for Music Artist Lisa (THEE' Oracle) Hightower.
On the morning of June 16th Lisa was traveling on the highway to a chiropractic appointment when the accident happened.
A seemingly irate driver brake checked her... she then lost control of her vehicle resulting in going straight into the cement barrier.
She vaguely recalls the impact into the wall because she went unconscious. She woke up to what we are calling her angel bringing her back to consciousness...her body. He stayed with her as she lied across the passenger seat where she was thrown. She was definitely injured but still alive. His kind voice was encouraging her to "hold on" as he gently held her hand.
She was transported to the #1 Trauma center. Her injuries include broken pelvis on right side broken ribs in her back on her right side and on her left side a fracture to her hip. Her lungs were bruised and she has face and knee bruises. The impact also caused her to hit her head on the steering wheel that was also dislodged from the column.
I'm happy to say that she had a successful surgery on June18th 2021.

She won't be able to walk without assistance or work for (3) months. This means her performances at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM), West Alley, The Nash and all other upcoming dates are cancelled for now. She's feeling disappointed but hopeful for full recovery.
During this expected long recovery period, Lisa will be faced with lost wages, medical bills, along with her monthly living expenses such as rent. She will also need another car since her's was totalled.
We are asking our incredibly supportive community to please help Lisa with the financial support she will need to help get through this long recovery
