Help Support Lisa Ponder’s Cancer Journey

In July of 2024, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Bile Duct / Liver Cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma). After several treatments of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, her tumor has been responding since starting. However, due to the chemotherapy treatments, she is slowly becoming deaf and losing her ability to hear, which, as a result, leads to her having to get hearing aids as there is no treatment, medicine, or surgery that will help improve her hearing loss. 

We are not the type of family to ask for help and support through our difficulties; however, my father is the sole household income provider and with my mom not having insurance, it has become very hard to keep up with medical expenses plus basic living expenses. 

We greatly appreciate any and everyone that is able to contribute, and if you cannot help financially, we just ask that you keep our family in your prayers as we continue down my mom’s cancer journey. She is a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and Mimi that we cannot see a world without.
